Yoga (Iyengar) - Every Monday 10 - 11am
Yoga is one of the oldest systems of personal development in the world. This system of balancing the body, mind and spirit was formulated by ancient yogis, who understood man’s essential nature and realised a way to utilise all of man’s inner resources to live in harmony with himself and the environment.
What is Iyengar Yoga?
The Iyengar method of yoga is initially learnt through the in-depth study of asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath control). The class is suitable for beginners and involves gentle stretching movements, posture and breathing exercises to help balance mind, body and soul.

Practising yoga helps you overcome and prevent many stresses, strains, aches and pains. It promotes a firm foundation for health and well being.
Yoga practice both relaxes and energises the body and mind and encourages vitality, strength, concentration, self-confidence and mental calm.

A traditional Chinese mind-body relaxation exercise consisting of 108 intricate exercise sequences performed in a slow relaxed manner. Meditation is encouraged within tai chi through the clam, flowing and focused movements of the exercise.
Benefits:
Tai Chi combines movement, meditation and breath regulation to enhance the flow of vital energy in the body, improve blood circulation and enhance immune functions. It promotes health and longevity.

What is Spontaneous Dance?
These sessions surround the concept that dance is a divine art great for anybody. It gives an opportunity to explore all levels of our outer being and opens up to new levels of self-expression, self-discovery, play, laughter, joy, bliss and fun! Dance is both grounding and liberating at the same time and brings healing qualities, increases self-confidence and shows the magic and passion of movement.

What is Yun Jung Do?
Sometimes known as the ‘educational martial art’, encompasses non-contact and non-competitive elements. ‘Yun Jung Do’, the original founder, used his lifetime experiences of martial arts to produce a carefully and uniquely designed programme, suitable for all ages and abilities, to exercise physical, mental and spiritual health.

What is Angel Meditation?
Angel Meditation centres upon the inspiration and guidance of Angel Cards, a selection of positive affirmations which are repeated and meditated upon. This can help you to create new viewpoints and attitudes within your life.
